ShutUp30.8: Do You Hear What I Hear?

voices drowning in chatter.
Tenderness declared
in the strictest secrecy
now used to win elections.

Shutup30.2: A rose by any other name

Today’s exercise was to brainstorm synonyms for common words, like walk, say, sad, happy, eat… I used some of my words to make a tanka poem.

The thesaurus walked
peregrinated the earth,
maudlin serendipity,
macerating synonyms.
